Unrest has taken place in at least two districts located in the capital of Nairobi and in the southwest area of Kisumu among supporters of the NASA coalition headed by Raila Odinga.

NASA has rejected the declaration by IBEC saying the process was fraudulent despite the presence of hundreds of observers from the African Union, the UN, COMESA, EU, the Carter Center, etc.
